Jacket foundations (JAF) Jacket foundation and GBF have the same input file. I.e. the users can compare data for GBF and jacket foundation, run both, and consider the best solution. Automations for jacket foundations include i.a. § Automatic creation of steel legs and cross-bracings in unlimited number of levels § Automatic creation of concrete platform on the top level § Free parametric number of legs (npoints) § Free parametric radius to the points of leg at each level § Free parametric radius for the concrete platform Examples below show jacket foundations with 3, 4, 5 and 6 legs in Lusas FEM models where input npoints have been set to 3, 4, 5 and 6. The input level is also increased 5m for each model.
