About The Danish Building Board (Bygningsstyrelsen)


The building board is the state property manager and building owner. We are responsible for creating a modern, functional and cost-effective framework for e.g. ministries, police, courts and universities.

 

The building board has a total property portfolio of approx. 4 million. m2 divided into state-owned properties, privately owned leases and OPP (Public-Private Partnership).

 

The building board is part of the Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing and was formed in 2011 by a merger of parts of the former Castle and Property Agency, the University and Building Agency and the Danish Commerce and Construction Agency.
